So, today I played around and set up my Poker AceHUD. After messing with all the boxes for about an hour, I finally figured out a "Combined Player Stat" all in one line, which I like. I set up displayed stats to show VPIP, PF raise%, Fold to Cont Bet %, and Total hands. I also set up Table Averages VP$, PFR, and Average pot. After observing a table for about an hour, I jumped on to test out my layout. I won $14 in about 9 hands. I actually used my newly found "edge" to my advantage after I got into a pot with 2 players whose Fold to Cont. Bet %'s were way below 50, and decided to check it down in positon to win a nice pot with AQs when they both had A8 on a board where we hit nothing.
I also set up both of my Pokertracker databases as PostgreSQL. I have one database for my stats, and a separate database for Observed hands. It's all coming together.
At dinner time, I opened up 10 tables and let pokertracker churn for a while. I came back a few hours later and used my PokerAce HUD table list to narrow down tables to VPIP > 30 and PFR < 10. Kinda used my own "6th sense." I didn't play, but this will be my process in the future before I get other "tools." Tables looked juicy. Before when I would play, I would just fire up any table with 5/6 players at them and go to work. I think this is going to enable me to post better profits. We shall see......table selection is the key in my game i've been missing.
