DAY 36 - 01/11/07 - I love AA & Rakeback

Today: +41.95 + $76.00 rakeback = +$117.95
To date: +$189.05
To go: $706.95
Bankroll: $1793.05
359 hands *** 1.08 hours *** 17.27/12.26 ***

Played pretty good today. Had a very loose image at the start of session. I was averaging 22/18 or so. I started not to get any respect, so I tightened way up. I stacked a guy then and was tired and logged off to take nice win. I'm sick yet again.

Hands of the day:

AA vs AK: http://www.pokerhand.org/?731446 . Shart factor 9.6 on turn when 3 clubs were out there. I was yelling NO CLUB!!!!!!!!! Rockets held and I chuckled. I think going all in with AK for a stack is -EV play. I still don't know how to play AK when I get resistance, if I were in his shoes.

KQ sooted: http://www.pokerhand.org/?731461 . Called in position with KQs. Flop was awesome. Turn was not. I paid him off.

UPDATE: Got rakeback payment today= $76. It's short by like $50, so I don't know wtf is going on. The site I signed up was rakerecovery.com, which was good because they were taking existing FTP accounts for rakeback right after they passed the gaming bill. The site was buggy for a long time, but now it's finally updating rakeback stats almost daily. Now this is my first monthly payment and it's way short. People on pocketfives.com are posting same issue. We'll see what happens. Rakeback is a nice little bonus, if it works right. I got like $540 in bonus stacked up at Pokerstars accounts that I need to start thinking about clearing, but I like FTP way too much now and it will be a hard change.

Just noticed your blog linked on fruitypro's and thought I'd check it out. Nice to see you running a challenge for yourself to build your bankroll. I set myself a similar goal for the new year, but I'm still a level below you. Best of luck, and I plan on checking back regularly and commenting on your hands. Take care!
