I continued trying out SpadeIt today. Found 4 donk tables and played a short session to get my Full Tilt Ironman points to 100.00 for the day. I had a balance from last nite's play bleed over into today, so I only needed about 20 points to get to the 100 mark.

Well folks, the donk bad beat switch was turned off today. Made a quick buy-in after I finally hit a flush draw. I flopped like 2 or 3 sets too. I won a medium pot on 1 set hand.

AQ: http://www.pokerhand.org/?742701 . EP limps. I make standard raise with AQ. Get lots of callers so I wasn't happy about that. Flopped a flush draw and I tried raising for free card, but I chose to mini raise to represent strength. I never do the mini raise. I think it's a terrible play. It kinda backfired when villian doesn't even mini raise back. He made it $9 after my $6 bet. So it was time to call and hopefully hit my flush draw. Turn was a blank and my blood started to raise in temperature after last nite flashed thru my head. Donk bets out $5 into $27 pot and I instacalled the 5:1 for my draw. River was beautiful club. Now how much can I bet to get paid??? Little less than 1/2 the pot fished him in. Nh sir!!

QJ: http://www.pokerhand.org/?742722 . Guy wakes up on flop. I called to see one more and I hit my 2 pair. His all-in overbet screamed draw to me. I called and if that damn club hit again, I was going to smash something. Oh...my hand held. I kinda like this game again!

It felt good to hit some hands tonite after getting murdered last nite. Keep grinding. I thought a lot about last nite's losing session. I really felt good about how I played. It was just bad luck. I have to learn how to deal with the downswings emotionally. I feel that I'm playing great poker with very few mistakes. I think my game has improved tremendously since the start of this challenge, and finally I will start to see some results.
