With today being Friday the 13th, I was skeptical to play. LOL. I took my dog for a walk in the forest preserve behind my house today after work and he got in the mud. All over. It was nasty. Plus we got kinda lost and overshot where we come out to get back to our house, so it was about a 1.5 mile hike when we were done. I was all tired and had to give my dog a bath. Kinda bad of luck, but it was fun.

Then, my wife and I go out to eat and she wants to get something at the store afterwards. I'm walking into the store with her and all of a sudden, I feel like I have to shit my pants! LOL. Luckily there was a Border's bookstore next door. I made it. Almost bad luck #2. I had to do the ammo-cough when someone came in. It serves 2 purposes: one to let the person know someone is in the stall, and two....to cover up the noises. LOL. Ok...enough poo humor.

Flop was rags and didn't tell me anything. He made another solid bet. I smooth called again to see how he acted on turn to make my all in decision or not. I was still scared of AA. Turn bet sealed the deal for me. He backed down a little and I knew it wasn't AA. I pushed and he sat and thought it out for a little bit before calling. No 2 outer and I double up.
AA: http://www.pokerhand.org/?996674 . Aces in the cutoff and get called by button. Flop was rags and decided to get cute versus short stack donk. I check raise him all-in and he had KK?!! Why do donk shortstacks play their huge hands like this every time? Glad I didn't have QQ, etc.

****Today was a crucial turning point for me. After 27,800 hands I have finally gotten back into the positive for NL $50 6max! Bonuses and rakeback have been carrying me all this time and I finally "grinded" out enough hands and got pokertracker stats to be green! It's been a learning experience:

First I started out LAG with huge leaks. I figured out leaks with some help, and played pretty solid LAG game of about 19/15 after that. I was playing about break even poker though at this limit and was down about 8 buyins at the worst. Then CR posts the Low Limit Guide. I have been trying this style since 3/14/07. I think the nitty type 15/11 or 15/12 stlye works the best for this limit against the $50 donks. After about 7500 hands playing this way, I'm running at 4.34BB/100. This has been working for me and I'm gonna stick with it.
